NAIA – The Lubbock Christian University Chaparrals smoked the Lee University Flames by a score of 10-2. The Chaparrals will now play the Concordia (CA) Eagles (who I still say should change their name to the Condors) for the NAIA World Series Championship. That game is scheduled for 10:10pm ET. 7:10pm local time.
JUCO – The Potomac State Catamounts routed the Central Arizona Vaqueros 11-3, forcing a second game tonight for the right to face the Navarro Bulldogs on Saturday for the title … UPDATE – The second game is over and the Vaqueros crushed the Catamounts 16-6. They advance to take on the Bulldogs tomorrow at 9:30pm ET.
JUCO -Division 2 – The Jones Bobcats are in Saturday’s championship game. They await the winner of tonight’s game between the Madison College Wolfpack and the Western Oklahoma State Pioneers … UPDATE – The Pioneers came back to defeat the Wolfpack 7-6 in 10 innings. They will face the Bobcats at 8pm ET on Saturday.
