The Central Missouri Mules are among the teams who have made the 8-team field for the D2 College World Series. For people unfamiliar with the collegiate way of handling their World Series there are a variety of teams (the number varying in certain divisions) that compete in a double-elimination tournament. The other teams winning their playoff regions and joining the Mules in the
D2 World Series are: Millersville Marauders, Sonoma State Seawolves, SCSU Owls, West Florida Argonauts, Mt Olive Trojans, Grand Valley State Lakers and the Winona State Warriors. The D2 World Series gets underway this Saturday May 28th at 1PM Eastern Time.
