SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — The University of Sioux Falls baseball team completed a two-game home sweep of Briar Cliff University on Sunday afternoon at Harmodon Park. The Cougars upended the Chargers 2-1 in game one and then wrapped up the weekend with a 6-0 game two shutout.
The sweep improves USF to 13-7 (5-1 GPAC) on the season.
The opener featured another dominating performance by freshman southpaw Noah Coleman (Broomfield, Colo.). Coleman tossed eight innings, giving up one earned run on five hits, while walking one and striking out eight Chargers en route to the complete game victory. He is now 4-1 on the season.
