SIXTH-SEEDED NHTI LYNX UPSET THE THIRD-SEEDED WILLIAMSON MECHANICS IN NATIONAL TOURNAMENT

CONCORD, NH – The NHTI, Concord’s Community College men’s basketball team downed Williamson Trade School 64-60 in overtime in the first round of the USCAA Men’s Division II National Basketball Championship being held in Uniontown, PA. NHTI was seeded sixth and Williamson was the number three seeded team and now falls into the loser bracket.

            NHTI was led by Terry Williams (Norwich, CT) who added 24 points. In addition, Besfort Syla (Manchester) scored 19 points and Marv Leveille (Stamford, CT) pulled in 15 boards.
