Lincoln, IL Shooting 50% from three point range (12-24) and 44.3% from the field the Red Lions of Lincoln Christian University defeated the Red Devils of Eureka College 78-54. After LCU took an 11-7 lead the Red Lions never trailed again. Outscoring EC eight to two in a five minute spurt in the first half, LCU took a 38-28 lead at the break. Eureka was never able to get closer than eight points in the second period as Lincoln continued to widen the gap.
Brady Cremeens put on a “clinic” as he scored 27 points hitting on eight of ten from the field including six of seven from three point distance and five of six free throws. Chris Lawson added 18 points. LCU out rebounded Eureka 45-37 as they improved their season record to 17-6.
Lincoln will be hosting Central College of the Bible at 7:00 pm Friday after the Red Lions Women play at 5:00 pm.
