CAPE COD, Mass. – The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) has announced its 2010 Football Bowl Championships. This year fourteen teams, including Franklin & Marshall, will be competing in seven bowls on Saturday, November 20. Each bowl will be hosted by an ECAC member institution.
The Diplomats (6-4) will head west to face Washington & Jefferson. The Presidents posted an 8-2 mark in 2010, finishing in second place in the President’s Athletic Conference behind 10-0 Thomas More.
The ECAC Bowl bid is F&M’s eighth overall. It is also the second in as many years for Franklin & Marshall. The Diplomats defeated Wilkes University in the South Atlantic Bowl last year. F&M’s 6-4 record marks the second winning season in as many years as well. Details about kickoff time, live stats and Internet coverage will be posted on the football schedule page on GoDiplomats.com when they are finalized.
