GRENADIERS WOMEN’S BASKETBALL: FIRST HOME GAME WEDNESDAY NIGHT

 

NEW ALBANY, Ind. – The IU Southeast women’s basketball team will face St. Catharine College (1-1) in the Grenadiers’ home opener on Wednesday night Nov. 10.

IU Southeast (0-2) is ranked number 20 in the NAIA Women’s Basketball Coaches’ Poll and are coming off a tough loss to Goshen College 70-67 on Saturday afternoon. 

 The Grenadiers are led by senior guard Whitney Duncan (Louisville, Ky.), the 2009-2010 KIAC Player of the Year.  Senior Alden Krausse (Floyds Knobs, Ind.) anchors the forward position.

 IU Southeast returns 11 players from the 23-9 team that won the KIAC Conference Championship and reached the NAIA National Tournament before losing to Jamestown College 65-58 in the first round.
