NUMBER THREE TAKES A FALL – The NAIA’s unranked SOUTHWESTERN COLLEGE MOUNDBUILDERS welcomed the number 3 team in the nation – the TABOR COLLEGE BLUE JAYS. Head Coach Ken Crandall had his team ignoring all the naysayers as the Moundbuilders proceeded to clobber the Blue Jays by a final score of 27-6! Congratulations to SC on their signature win so far this season!
FOUR HUNDRED WINS FOR USF – NCAA Division Two’s (23) UNIVERSITY OF SIOUX FALLS COUGARS notched their 400th victory in program history last night! Cougars QB Luke Papillion led the way passing for 287 yards and 3 TD’s. When the game was over USF had polished off their opponents – the visiting CONCORDIA (St Paul) GOLDEN BEARS – by a score of 38-9. Congratulations to USF on reaching this milestone!
