DROVERS MEN AND WOMEN BOTH END SEASON RANKED

 The University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma is not only a fine institution, but their sports teams have the incredibly cool nickname the Drovers. Balladeer’s Blog’s readers voted them the Coolest Named NAIA Sports Teams in 2010, and the Drovers often kick butt in soccer, basketball and baseball.

For the 2011 season the men’s soccer team finished ranked 8th in the nation and the women’s team finished ranked 21st. Only one other Oklahoma team made either poll, so if you’re a soccer player wanting to go to college in Oklahoma, how could you not want to be a Drover?
